Health is absolutely tantamount to wealth. If you do not have good health, you will end up not enjoying the pleasures in life. This goes the same with travelling. You certainly will not be able to enjoy a holiday vacation if you become ill all of a sudden, especially in places like Cebu’s beaches. Cebu has so much in store for the holidaymaker. Clear blue waters, fine white sand, immaculate skies… it would be disheartening to miss all these just because of being under the weather. To avoid this, it is best to do prevention measures. Eat the right kind of food, exercise, have proper hygiene and a clean environment. They may seem like a lot of things to do, but they are very beneficial in the long run.
Also, once you arrive in your destination, your body might not adapt to the water, food and environment right away, which could become harmful to your health. To make sure you have a worry-free and enjoyable holiday, you can do precautionary steps such as using bottled water or carbonated beverages for drinking because the way water is treated varies from country to country. Your body has been used to water from where you live. Avoid using ice for your drink, too. For food, eating steamy hot stewed food would be better. Do not buy food from street vendors as much as possible. Fruits and vegetables are also helpful, but make sure to peel fruits yourself. And avoid eating undercooked or uncooked meat.
