Santander Beaches
Santander is another province of Cebu situated at the southern part of the island just after the Municipality of Oslob. Popularly known to be the port to neighbouring islands, Santander, 135 kilometres far from the city, is also popular for a number of reasons. Other than the beaches, the Torta, a delicacy from Santander is well loved by the Filipinos. Most people here do fishing activities and shipping business, because as mentioned earlier, you are to board here if heading towards Negros from Cebu. Santander is known to be peaceful and quiet, best for recollection at the seafront of white, clear different shades of blue waters, and lots of trees around you– a very typical province of Cebuanos. As you travel all the way down south at day light, Santander caters the best shoreline, sunsets and sunrises along the road. And in the evening, it gives you an amazing night skyline.
In Santander, Scuba diving has become known to both local and the foreign tourists like in Moalboal.
