San Remigio Beaches
San Remigio, is found in every beach lover’s heart but geographically is located at the northern part of Cebu after the Municipality of Bogo. Although some people consider San Remigio as San Remedio, this popular getaway from the busy life in the city always satisfy and touch every tourists or visitors’ heart because of its hospitable and friendly townsfolk. Also, San Remigio is known for great fisheries and livestock.
San Remigio owns the longest shoreline in Cebu, which by the way makes it a favourite beach spot of both, local and foreign tourists. Gone are the days when tourists just drop by San Remigio before heading to Bantayan Island. It creates its own list of amazing destinations, hotels and resorts, and sea water activities.

Hagnaya Wharf is another highlight of San Remigio, frequently visited not only during Holy Week days and Fiestas but even in ordinary days because the Hagnaya Wharf is the terminal port towards the famed Bantayan Island of Cebu.
First and second class beach resorts are to be found in San Remigio. The list includes San Remigio Beach Club, Verdimar Resort, and Warren’s Beach Resort. If you want peaceful vacation in the beach, the mostly preferred place is at Warren’s. However, if you want more of wild water adventure activities, San Remigio Beach Club is the name to consider,

Water sports, activities and adventure in San Remigio include skim boarding, scuba diving and snorkelling. There are already protected marine sanctuaries and reefs in the area for these activities. The skim boarding is popular to young natives and skim professionals that went all the way north for this activity. Small time skim tournaments are held here especially during the summer season.
Although this town is small in population, San Remigio surely proved to all tourists that they have their own beaches to be proud of and not just merely a stop over zone for people headed to Bantayan Island.
