Liloan Beaches
The Municipality of Lilo-an is located in the Northern part of Cebu after the Municipality of Concolacion and before the Municipality of Compostela. Lilo-an as the thrid municipality of the North showcases a number of tourist destinations, causing their tourism to fly off the roofs.
Lilo-an’s real estate industry is also at its bloom since the year of 2006. In fact, numerous land area properties are offered to foreign migrants or those local and foreign retirees. Lilo-an serves as the home of sub-urban class subdivision promoting contemporary living near the sea.

Lilo-an beaches are not of white sand but the waves are the main attraction of skim boarders. Many locals from Cebu City travel their way up to the north just to feel the adrenaline of skim boarding. Skim boarding competitions, small and big time, are held annually in Lilo-an mostly during the summer seasons. Seafront Beach Resorts is the usual place where you can spot these skim boarders ride and play with the waves.
Other highlights of Lilo-an include the old Spanish built 72 feet tall lighthouse or the Parola in Bagacay Point. This lighthouse is the very reason why the said province is popularly known to be the “Light of the North”.

You can also visit the Lilo-an Church, the San Fernando Church situated along the road where the folks of Lilo-an believed to face the mountains in the West unlike other Catholic churches that is facing the sea in the East. Lilo-an is also known of quality works in Ceramics. Residents in the area are sell pots, bricks, and jars of different sizes in the streets at affordable prices.
Other place of interest includes the Titay’s Lilo-an Rosquillos that sells the Cebuano’s favourite delicacy, Rosquillos, Second is the the Sitoy Bay which has whirling waters visible that is called in vernacular as Lilo.
